أسرة السرى بن الحکم وأول محاولة استقلال بمصر في عصر الولاة 200 -210هـ / 815 – 825م

يتناول هذا البحث أول محاولة باکرة للاستقلال بمصر،وذلک فى فترة عصر الولاة التى تمتد من سنة 21ه/631م وحتى سنة 254ه/868م، وذلک قبل الاستقلال الفعلى لمصر على يد أحمد بن طولون، و کانت هذه المحاولة من قبل أسرة السرى من الحکم،وقد کان السرى جنديا فى حامية مصر العسکرية الى ان تمخضت احداث مصر ودار الخلافة عن اضطرابات ادت الى  ظهور شخصيته ومنافسته على تولى مقاليد الأمور بها،وقد تعاقب أبناؤه من بعده على ولاية مصر سواء باجماع الجند او باعتراف الخلافة.
والحقيقة ان تلک المحاولة باءت بالفشل لما حف بها من منافسات من بعض القادة ،فضلا عن فقدانها لمقومات النجاح من حب وتطلع عامة الرعيه للخلافة العباسية ، ونظرتهم لها نظرة الملخص من اى اضطرابات. وکذا عدم وجود قاعدة عريضة تؤيد تلک المحاولة ، فضلا عن فقدان القائمين على تلک المحاولة للمقومات الشخصية التى تؤهلهم لاتمامها.
 
 
This research paper discusses the first early attempt towards attaining the independence of Egypt in the period from (21 AH /641) to (254 AH /868). Before the actual independence attained by Ahmad Ibn Tolon, there had been another attempt by          Al Serry Family. Al Serry was a soldier in the Egyptian army in a period of time that witnessed turmoil, conflict, and tension in the relationships between Egypt and Abbasid Caliphate. Al Serry appeared as a man of powerful character who managed, amidst a lot of competition, to take power and to become the ruler of Egypt and then to be succeeded by his dynasty whether through the consensus of soldiers or the consent of the Caliphate.
 
In fact, this early attempt towards independence failed due to severe competition among leaders. In additions to this, the failure was due to the fact that the factors of success were missing since ordinary people felt deep love and reverence towards the Abbasid Caliphate that was considered the only savior that kept them away from any conflicts. This was also due to a lack of public support to that independence attempt, in addition to the fact that even those who propagated for it were not, personally, qualified to complete their mission.
