ترک التحضر أثر واضح على تنشئة الأطفال في الأسرة النووية، حيث أصبح ينظر على الأطفال من قبل أبويهم نظرة تأمين المستقبل وضمانه ، ونجد أن العلاقات القرابية للأسرة في المجتمعات المتحضرة اتسمت بالتشتت والتدهور نتيجة ضعف العشيرة والقبيلة ودورها، وتحطم الهرم الاجتماعي الذي کان يقودها متمثلا بالأسرة الممتدة ، وفي نفس الوقت قد لا يعني الانتقال إلى الحياة الحضرية زوال العلاقات القرابية نهائيًا بين الحضري وأقاربه، فکثير ما لاحظنا استمرارية هذه العلاقات ولو بنسب متفاوتة ، لذا نهيب بجميع مؤسسات المجتمع الالتفات إلى ذلک من أجل النهوض بمجتمع متحضر.
Urbanization has left a clear impact on the upbringing of children in the nuclear family, where children are viewed by their parents as securing and guaranteeing the future, and we find that the family’s kinship relations in civilized societies have been characterized by dispersal and deterioration as a result of the weakness of the clan and tribe and their role, and the destruction of the social pyramid that was led by the extended family. At the same time, moving to urban life may not mean the final demise of kinship relations between the urban and his relatives, as we often noticed the continuity of these relations, even in varying proportions, so we call upon all community institutions to pay attention to this in order to advance a civilized society.
