يعد الإعلام الإلکتروني نمطاً من أنماط الإعلام الهادف لخدمة المجتمع، وأحد الموضوعات العصرية المهمة خاصة بعد التطور الهائل في وسائل، وأساليب الاتصال والمعلومات بعد أن اتسعت مجالات استخدامه لتشمل موضوعات عديدة، ومنها العناية بالأمن العام، وخاصة بعد أن تطور مفهوم الأمن نفسه من نظرة ضيقة کانت تجعل منه حکراً علي المؤسسات الأمنية إلي نظرة شاملة تجعل منه مسؤولية مشترکة لجميع أفراد المجتمع؛ ومن هنا جاءت مشکلة البحث لرصد وتوصيف، وتحليل أساليب معالجة الإعلام الإلکتروني للمظاهرات الفئوية في مصر بعد ثورة 25 يناير.

Electronic media is a type of media aimed at serving the community, and one of the important modern topics, especially after the tremendous development in the means, methods of communication and information after the areas of its use expanded to include many topics, including the care of public security, especially after the development of the concept of security itself from a narrow view that was make it the monopoly of the security institutions, with a comprehensive view that makes it a joint responsibility for all members of society; Hence, the research problem came to monitor, describe and analyze the methods of electronic media handling of factional demonstrations in Egypt after the January 25 revolution.
