مشکلات فهرسة الرسائل الجامعية وفقا لقواعد الفهرسة الأنجلو- أمريکية والحاجة إلى RDA

هدفت الدراسة إلى وصف وتحليل المشکلات التي تواجه قواعد الفهرسة الأنجلو أمريکية AACR2 Anglo-American Cataloging Rules، والأسباب التي دعت إلى ظهور معيار وصف وإتاحة المصادر RDA، ولتحقيق ذلک الهدف اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج المسحي (الوصفي التحليلي) وکان الاستبيان أحد أدوات جمع البيانات للتعرف على آراء العاملين بالمکتبات حول استخدام قواعد AACR2 والمشکلات التي تواجههم عند فهرسة الرسائل الجامعية, وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها رغم أن قواعد الفهرسة الأنجلو أمريکيةAnglo-American Cataloging Rules AACR تعد أکثر قواعد الفهرسة الوصفية استخداما حول العالم, إلا أنها تواجه تحديات کثيرة لکي تواکب التغيرات والثورات المتلاحقة في عصر تکنولوجيا المعلومات, وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة إلتزام العاملين بالمکتبات بتطبيق القواعد الشاملة التي تتبعها المکتبة في فهرسة مقتنياتها.
This research analyzes and describes the problems of the Anglo American Cataloging Rules. It also shows the reasons for the emergence of the RDA rules. It considers librarians' opinions regarding the use of AACR2 rules and the problems they face in University Theses cataloging. This research uses the analytic descriptive method. The questionnaire was one of the data collection tools to get the opinions of librarians about the use of AACR2 rules and the problems they face when Cataloging Academic Theses. The outcomes of it are: the Anglo American Cataloging Rules are the most used all over the world. However, there are many challenges in order to cope with new revolutions in information technology. It also recommends the necessity for all librarians to use the comprehensive rules that a library follows in cataloging.
