يهدف هذا البحث البحث إلى دراسة روايتي "فوبيت" للكاتب ديفيد أبرامز و "الحرب الأبدية" للكاتب جو هالدمان و من منظور أسلوبي حيث تظهر الروايتين القواسم المشتركة والاختلافات في كيفية تمثيل الحرب. يسعى الكاتبان إلى استكشاف النقاشات الثقافية والسياسية حول حرب العراق و العلاقة بين الأدب والسياسة. يستخدم كلا المؤلفين بعض الأساليب لنقل تجربة الحربودراسة المعضلات الأخلاقية التي يواجهها الجنود والمواطنون.
The present paper aims at conducting a stylistic analysis of two novels: David Abrams's Fobbit and Joe Haldeman's The Forever War. It is concerned with identifying commonalities and differences in how the war is represented in each text. It also seeks to explore how these novels engage with broader cultural and political debates surrounding the Iraq War and how they contribute to ongoing discussions about the relationship between literature and politics. Both authors employ some techniques to convey the experience of war, examining the ethical dilemmas faced by soldiers and civilians.
