يعد المستوى الصوتي من أهم مستويات البناء الشعري عند المبدعين والدارسين على حد سواء، وهو ركن أصيل من أركان الشعر. والموسيقى الشعرية من أهم العناصر التي يرتكز عليها البناء الشعري، وتمثل إيقاعا لإحساس الشاعر وانفعالاته تجاه الموضوعات التي يطرحها.
وسوف تسعى الدراسة إلى استعمال الإحصاء لقياس درجة الانحراف الشعري عن لغة الكلام العادي. وننبه إلى أن الإحصاء لا يعد غاية ينتهي إليها البحث، إنما هو وسيلة سيسعى من خلالها البحث للقبض على الظواهر البارزة في شعر الشاعر، ثم نحاول أن نربط الظواهر الصوتية والإيقاعية بالدلالة العامة للنص.

The study will seek to use statistics to measure the degree of poetic deviation from the language of ordinary speech. We warn that statistics is not an end to which the research ends, but rather a means through which the research will seek to capture the prominent phenomena in the poet's poetry, then we try to link the phonetic and rhythmic phenomena to the general significance of the text.
