الأكوان المتعددة نظرية تقترح وجود عديد من الأكوان اللامتناهية لها أبعاد مستقلة عن أبعادنا المعروفة.

يعتقد أن البعض أن نظرية الأكوان المتعددة لها بعد علمي فقط، بينما الدين له دور في نقاش هذه النظرية، إما بالرفض التام من وجهة نظر البعض لتعارض بعض أشكال هذه الأكوان مع المعتقدات الدينية، أو باستخدام النظرية في التشكيك في وجود الله، لارتباط النظرية بالعشوائية أو مبدأ الاحتمالية الذي يناقض مبدأ الضبط الدقيق أو الغائية.

لا نعرف ما إذا كانت هناك أكوان أخرى أو لا، ربما لن نفعل ذلك أبداً، هذا سؤال يمكن طرحه بشكل يجعله سؤالًاً علميًا حقيقيًا، علاوة على ذلك سأوجز لماذا هو سؤال مثير للاهتمام، ولماذا؟
