Abstract
The different types of pollution, the ravenous consumption of natural resources, the extinction of animals, and the removal of trees are but some aspects of human destruction of Earth. This destruction affects all living things, including humans; hence, a counter reaction has been an urgent demand in order to protect and preserve the environment with its countless species. Such a counter reaction is represented in the efforts of ecopoets and environmental activists like Wendell Berry, Gary Snyder, Robert Pack, and others whose main aim is to raise humans’ awareness of ecological problems resulting from destructive actions; therefore, this paper will critically analyze Wendell Berry’s poetry, pinpointing his ecopoetic .

إنَّ أنواع التلوث المختلفة، واستهلاك الموارد الطبيعية بشراهة، وانقراض الحيوانات، وإزالة الأشجار ماهي إلا بعض أوجه تدمير الإنسان للأرض. ولكن هذا التدمير يؤثر على جميع الكائنات الحية -ومن ضمنها البشر- ومن ثمَّ فإنَّ مقاومة هذا التدمير أصبحت مطلبًا ملحًا من أجل حماية وحفظ البيئة والأجناس التي لا ُتعد ولا ُتحصى بها. وتتمثل هذة المقاومة في جهود شعراء وناشطي البيئة مثل ويندل بيري، وغاري سنايدر، وروبرت باك، وغيرهم ممن يتمثل هدفهم الأساسي في زيادة وعي البشر بالمشكلات البيئية الناجمة عن السلوكيات المدمرة؛ لذلك سيقوم هذا البحث بتحليل شعر ويندل بيري تحليلًا نقديًا موضحًا رؤيته للعلاقة بين الانسان والطبيعة من منظور شعري بيئي.
