نشأة التعليم الجامعى والعالي ومؤسساته في دولة الكويت

الملخص:
إرتبط نظام التعليم فى الكويت بتطبيق منظومة التعليم النظامي والأهلى منذ عام ۱۹۱۱م، حيث ظهرت المدرسة المباركية، لعلاج المشكلات التي خلفها نظام الكتاتيب، لتسعى إلى تطوير المناهج الدراسية، وزيادة أعداد الدارسين، ثم جاءت مدرسة الإرسالية الأمريكية، والمدرسة الأحمدية للناشئة الوطنية عام ۱۹۲۱م، والمدارس الثانوية كمدرستى الشويخ والمرقاب، ومدارس ذوى الإحتياجات الخاصة، وصولاً إلى مرحلة التعليم الجامعى بتأسيس جامعة الكويت عام ۱۹٦٦، وإدارة التعليم الفني والمهني عام ١٩٧٢م، أما الجامعات الخاصة فبدأ ظهورها منذ عام ۲۰۰۰م، ومنها: جامعة الخليج للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، والجامعة الأمريكية، وفرع الجامعة العربية المفتوحة.
Abstract:
The education system in Kuwait has been associated with the implementation of both the formal and private education systems since 1911. The Mubarak School emerged to address the problems caused by the traditional religious schools (Kuttab system) and aimed to develop the curricula and increase the number of students. Subsequently, the American Missionary School and the Ahmadiah School for National Boys were established in 1921. High schools such as Al-Shuwaikh and Al-Mirqab, schools for students with special needs, and ultimately the university stage with the founding of Kuwait University in 1966, and the administration of technical and vocational education in 1972. Private universities started to emerge in 2000, including the Gulf University for Science and Technology, the American University, and the branch of the Arab Open University
