لقد أصبح من أهم المتطلبات اللازمة لنجاح أى برنامج لحماية البيئة الريفية وتنميتها هو تدعيم قدرة الجماهير على المشاركة والتفاعل بإيجابية مع البيئة وحمايتها , , فهى كفيلة بالإرتقاء بشخصية المواطن الريفى عن طريق نشر المعرفة والوعى البيئى , بالإضافة إلى تعبئة الجهود الفردية والجماعية للمواطنين لمزيد من التنمية الإجتماعية والإقتصادية والبيئية بالريف المصرى . وذلك فى إطار الخطط والبرامج الإنمائية , فالمشاركة الشعبية هى الجديرة بتحقيق حماية للبيئة فى الريف وصيانة مواردها الطبيعية .
It has become one of the most important requirements for the success of any program to protect and develop the rural environment is to strengthen the ability of the masses to participate and interact positively with the environment and protect it.
