Being a Palestinian does not mean you are born or ever entered Palestine as it is with the Palestinian Rafeef Ziadah who is considered a model of performance poetry delivering dissent-aesthetic discourse. Aiming to explore the dominant kind of derivational and inflectional suffixes appearing in her lyrics and affecting the poem's themes, the researcher investigated English morphemes encountered in Rafeef Ziadah's 36 lyrics shown in the three albums of Ziadah; "Hadeel", "We Teach Life", and "Three Generations". Hence, the researcher used the descriptive approach to analyze her data qualitatively and utilized the content analysis tool in her investigation. She relied on what Fromkin (2003) mentioned in her theory about affixes in English along with what Basheer (2020) and Fitria (2020) did in categorizing the semantic aspects of derivational and inflectional affixes. The researcher used their work on affixes in her investigation while indicating what suffixes appeared in the words of Ziadah's lyrics, and how they influenced themes and ideas that appeared in three albums of Ziadah. After analyzing 36 poems, findings show that implementing derivational and inflectional suffixes has a profound influence on the messages intended by the poet beyond her suffixed words.
