لقيت الصّورة في ميدان البحوث الأدبيّة العربيَّة، اهتمامًا متزايدًا في الدِّراسات الأدبيّة والبلاغية، حيثُ يتجلى هَذَا الاهتمام من خلال عديد من الرسائل الجامعية والكتب والمقالات الَّتي تسلط الضّوء على هَذَا المفهوم. ويولِّد هَذَا الاهتمام تساؤلات حول مدى إيحائها ومعانيها، على الصّعيدين النّقديّ الأدبيّ والإبداعيّ الفنّيّ. فمن ناحية، تناولت هذه الدِّراسات معاني الصّورة وموقعها في النقد الأدبيّ، ومفهوم الدِّراسات النَّقدية وأهدافها المعرفيَّة وأسس منهجها، وكيفية فهم الأدب وتقييمه وفهم حقائقه.In the field of Arab literary research, the image has received increasing attention in literary and rhetorical studies, as this interest is evident through many university theses, books, and articles that shed light on this concept. This interest generates questions about the extent of its inspiration and meanings, on the levels of literary criticism and artistic creativity. On the one hand, these studies dealt with the meanings of the image and its place in literary criticism, the concept of critical studies, its cognitive goals, the foundations of its approach, and how to understand and evaluate literature and understand its facts
