تناولت هذه الورقة اللغة عند أفلاطون، وأوضحت أ، اللغة وسيلة البشر للتعارف ولتمييز بعضهم عن بعض من خلال تعدد اللغات، فلكل لغة رموزها الخاصة بها، ونظامها الخاص بها، فلسفة اللغة عند أفلاطون ناقشت جملة من المسائل منها صلة اللغة بالحقيقة، ونقد اللغة، وأصل اللغة، حيث أشار أفلاطون في بداية الأمر إلى أنها اصطلاح ابتكره الإنسان. كما حاول أفلاطون الكشف عن خطورة اللغة حينما تشوه الحقيقة بالمهارات اللغوية، وذلك من خلال نقده لما طرحه السوفسطائيون والخطباء. من أفكار وخطب، حيث كانت اللغة وسيلة من الوسائل التي اتخذها أفلاطون لكشف زيف ادعاءات السفسطائيين.
