اشتمل البحث على إطارين الأول: نظري , بحث التعريف بالشاعر أمل دنقل دراسة في السيرة والفنية , والرؤية الفكرية في شعر الشاعر , ثم عرج على بحث المفارقة الأسلوبية لغة واصطلاحا وعلاقتها بالدراسات الأسلوبية الحديثة , وعناصرها , ووظائفها الجمالية .
والثاني : تطبيقي تم من خلاله تطبيق المفاهيم النظرية على شعر أمل دنقل , من خلال درس المُفَارَقَة وفنون البديع في شعر أمل دنقل , المُفَارَقَة التركيبية في شعر أمل دنقل , والمفارقة التصويرية في شعر أمل دنقل , وعرض الشواهد الشعرية التي تكشف عن مدى تمكن الشاعر من استغلال الطاقات التعبيرية , والوظائف الجمالية للمفارقة الأسلوبية في شعر أمل دنقل
The research came under the title: Stylistic Paradox in the Poetry of Amal Dunqul, in the specialty of Arabic Rhetoric.
