The research aimed to reveal the effectiveness of training program based on activities and play - for a specific period of time - in improving attention and perception of autistic children. On a sample of (20) autistic children, aged between (6-10) years, who were previously diagnosed with autism disorder and obtained a score of (7) or above on the Gilliam Autism Spectrum Disorder Rating Scale, the research followed the quasi- experimental approach, using the experimental design of a single experimental group subject to the influence of a training program using pre- and post-measurement of the same sample, and the research tools included: Sensory Perception Scale for Autistic Children , Joint Attention Skills Estimation Scale for Children with Autism Disorder, a training program based on activities and play, an evaluation form for the proposed training program sessions. The results showed statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the pre- and post-measurements on the research scales in favor of the post- measurement, indicating the effectiveness of the training program - proposed in the research - The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members in the post-test and follow-up measurements on the two research scales, indicating the continued effectiveness and impact of the training program based on activities and play in improving attention and perception in autistic children.
