الملخص:
يعتبر الشهيد إسماعيل راجي الفاروقي واحدا من أعلام الفكر الإسلامي المعاصر، كان له الحظ في الإلمام بثقافتين مختلفتين، ثقافة إسلامية تراثية وثقافة غربية حديثة، مما ساعد في صقل شخصيته، فعرفت بالتوازن والموضوعية، وقدرته على تحسس مشكلة الأفكار التي يعيشها العالم الإسلامي. وهو الذي تبنى مفهوم العروبة التي تمثل عنده رؤية متميزة للوجود ومنطلقا وإطارا للمعرفة والأخلاق، صاحب مشروع إسلامية المعرفة الذي من خلاله حاول إضفاء الصفة الإسلامية على العلوم الاجتماعية المتأثرة بالفكر الغربي، الذي أسقط من حساباته مصدرا مهما وهو الوحي والتراث الفكر الإسلامي.
Abstract:
Martyr Ismail Raji Al Farouqi is considered one of the prominent figures of contemporary Islamic thought. He was fortunate enough to be acquainted with two different cultures, a traditional Islamic culture and a modern Western culture, which helped refine his personality. It was known for its balance and objectivity, and for its ability to sense the problem of ideas in which the Islamic world lives. He is the one who adopted the concept of Arabism, which represents for him a distinct vision of existence and a starting point and framework for knowledge and morals. He is the owner of the Islamic knowledge project through which he tried to give the Islamic character to the social sciences affected by Western thought, which dropped from his calculations an important source, which is the revelation and heritage of Islamic thought.
